Artist’s Statement

In my work I explore the liminal space between the internal and external experience, attempting to conceptualize how emotion rises to the surface to become something tangible. I think about how our psychology affects our physical state and every way that presents itself. By emphasizing flesh and skin, I can examine the constant constraints of being human.
